Dransfields acquires Token Amusements

Dransfields is delighted to announce the acquisition in December of Token Amusements of Bournemouth – hitherto the largest independent gaming machine operator in that region. The purchase of this historical company (Token Amusements first began trading in 1937) came about as a result of the retirement of owner Mike Doughty.

The acquisition means that Dransfields will further extend our national reach, making us the pre-eminent gaming machine operator on the South Coast.

With a busy machine operation to amalgamate, we’re extremely pleased to announce that all Token Amusements staff will transfer to Dransfields’ employ. Customers in the region will continue to be looked after by their existing engineers, who will remain locally-based.

And these customers will now enjoy the extensive benefits of working with Dransfields – not least of which being the ability to access gaming machines that are exclusively available from us.

Our new customers are already giving us positive feedback, and we are very much looking forward to working with them far into the future. We welcome them, we welcome our new people, and of course, we wish Mike a long and happy retirement.
